"Access Space opens its doors on Wednesdays for you to bring in broken items and they will help you to learn how to repair them. This includes computer/electrical stuff, even clothing or furniture, etc."

A piblic meeting to discuss the need for green solutions in Sheffield with former Green Party leader, Natalie Bennet. No matter what your political persuasion sustainability issues are important and will have a massive affect on our city. Use this as a chance to ask questions, express opinions and work on solutions. "Friends of ASSIST Sheffield run this community workshop on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. They always welcome help, any volunteers, cake or biscuits!"

If you are handy with a spanner and want to pass on your skills then you might enjoy the ASSIST SHeffield workshop. Bicycles are a invaluable tool for a lot of people who need them to get around the city so for a lot of people events like this are a massive help.
